Turning into Gold Console

Inspired by the concept of Alchemy: "Alchemy is a philosophical and photo scientific tradition. It aimed to purify, mature, and perfect certain objects", we tried to imitate its common aim which was the transmutation of base metals (e.g., lead) into "noble" ones (particularly gold). We created a set of tables and tried to reflect this transformation - from metal into Gold.

Admiring Alchemist's strong sense of belief of the process that changes or transforms something in a mysterious way, we wanted to demonstrate the power of transformation of the things for the better. This sculptural console has simple and minimal forms. The surface material has been neatly gridded, introducing a modern twist and a textured finish. The turning into Gold console is available in black (metal), dark (rust) and gold (brass).
